Concentration Statement

     The theme of my concentration was the array of emotions felt when undergoing depression. As I went along this year I went through many changes and felt many new things, and although they were not all bad feelings some very much were, ranging from deep despair to and empty numbing feeling. It was a very swirly, drippy experience, translating these emotions into a connecting series of images for my AP portfolio. Much of my concentration consists of heavy, cool colors that convey a pressure, a cold, contained sadness, while others are colored brightly to convey an outwardly aggressive expression of emotions akin to a swirling storm of feelings along with the want to not have those feelings anymore, thusly inflicting them upon others to alleviate my own discomfort, while there are some in between that range of colors that come off as a calm before the storm. (This was a bad year for me lol)
